I recently decided to take a look through my wardrobe and realised how utterly pathetic it was, the reason? I'm so overweight so avoid buying new clothes as much as possible because I hate trying clothes on and seeing what size I need to buy. I walk through stores and see beautiful tops, dresses and skirts that I know I can't wear due to my size and at the moment its really been getting me down. The weight gain is completely my fault, overeating and being lazy have caused me to gain about 3 stone in just short of 3 years which actually makes me feel sick.
I have bingo wings, a flabby bell and huge thighs, all of which need to go! I know this isn't going to be a quick process but I am prepared to work my bum off to get where I want to be. I decided to cancel a couple of beauty boxes and spend the money on something much more worth while. A gym membership. I joined a wonderful ladies only gym local to me, it offers all the usual gym equipment, a brilliant choice of classes and weekly weigh ins. The women who work there are all friendly and make you feel so welcome. I had my induction about a week ago and after my first week I lost 3.5lbs so I was very happy. They say you should aim to lose around 1-2lbs per week so my goal is 1-1.5lbs per week.
The reason I am putting this on my blog is basically for bit of a kick up the bum, I am going to report back every Wednesday with how much weight I have lost or gained or if I have simply stayed the same. hopefully revealed how I have done to everyone every week will ensure that I continue to eat healthy and stick to my exercise regime.
My ultimate goal is to lose 4 stone, however I will be doing mini goals. I purchased a dress around 3 months ago which I just couldn't for the life of me get into. I tried it on around 5 weeks ago and could just pull it on, I have tried it on today and it fits but there is definitely a lot more lumps and bumps that there should be so my first goal is to look better in the dress. I am going to London in 5 weeks so fingers crossed I can smooth out some of those bumps.
Thanks for reading all and if you have a blog for your weight loss please link be below, I'd love to see someone elses journey to becoming healthier and happier !
Lots of love
